Pupillage at the Specialist Bar
Join us online or in-person for this panel and networking event in collaboration with Erskine Chambers, 5RB, Hogarth Chambers and the Revenue Bar Association.
We are pleased to invite students and prospective pupillage applicants to an evening exploring opportunities at the specialist Bar, with a particular focus on Media, Company, Intellectual Property and Tax law.
Hosted in partnership with 5RB, Erskine Chambers, Hogarth Chambers and the Revenue Bar Association, this event will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear directly from practising barristers about life at the specialist Bar, the nature of their work, and the routes into these rewarding areas of practice.
While the profession has become increasingly diverse, some areas of the specialist Bar continue to attract a narrower range of applicants than others. Through this event, we hope to broaden awareness of these practice areas and demonstrate the varied and fulfilling careers they offer. Attendees will gain insight into work that is intellectually stimulating, often at the forefront of legal development, and regularly involves matters of significant public, commercial and constitutional importance.
Aspiring pupils at any stage of study are welcome to attend, and no prior knowledge of any of these areas of law is necessary.
The panel talk will be followed by a networking drinks reception with canapes.
